Air China 2nd nonstop Beijing-Los Angeles flight begins

Air China recently launched its 2nd daily nonstop flights to Los Angeles from Beijing. The move was greeted with a majestic water cannon salute upon its arrival at the Los Angeles International Airport.

Zhang Yesui, Chinese Ambassador to the US, expressed joy on the beginning of this service saying that it reaffirmed close ties between China and US. He also hoped that start of this service will promote close ties between the two countries in trade as well as people-to-people interaction.

Antonio Villarai, Los Angeles Mayor, was present along with Qiu Shaofang, Chinese Consul General in Los Angeles, and other officials was present at the Los Angeles International Airport to welcome the new flight.

The new flight is expected to provide convenience to the passengers reducing the ground time significantly at the Beijing Capital International Airport.

Air China, the flag carrier of China offering exciting travel packages and cheap flight deals to its customers on several occasions, also announced that it will start flight operations on all US routes utilizing Boeing 777-300ERs from next year.
