Air China to launch B777-300ER on Beijing-San Francisco route

For those planning to book airline tickets for travel to the United States from China, here’s good news awaiting them. China’s flagship carrier Air China has announced it will upgrade its service on the Beijing-San Francisco route. The airline will introduce the new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on this route starting from February 11, 2014. The B777-300ER aircraft is quite popular among business travelers worldwide.

Air China said that the destinations being served in the United States would see upgraded B777-300ER flights by February this year. The destinations where Air China currently provides flight services in the U.S. include Houston, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco. According to Air China, the U.S.-China aviation market has seen an upsurge in demand with the number of tourists and business travelers growing tremendously in recent years. The airline said that keeping in view the ever growing demand there is a pertinent need to expand the network and upgrade the aircrafts with increased capacity on the U.S.-China routes.
 
Providing details about the new B777-300ER, Air China said that the new aircraft will have the best cabin interior design ever in the airline’s history. Both the First Class and Business Class cabins would have 180 degree full-flat sets installed. The passengers traveling in the Economy Class will also have a comfortable flying experience with new ergonomic seats. Among other features in the aircraft include personal in-flight entertainment system and power outlets at each seat.
