Air China to Launch new flight service to Milan

The national flag carrier of China, Air China has recently announced the launch of thrice a week direct flight between Beijing and Milan. The airline will begin the new service from 15th June 2011 and will operate its wide-body Airbus A330-300 aircraft over the new route.

The new flight will depart from Beijing on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 01.30pm and will arrive in Milan at 07.00pm. The round trip flight will then depart from Milan at 01.30pm and will arrive in Beijing at 01.30pm the following day.

The introduction of flight service to the new route will make it the second one, first being Shanghai – Milan in 2008.

"Since joining the Star Alliance network in 2007, Air China's international network has been strengthened to cover 29 countries and regions," said Zhou Enyong, General Manager- marketing, Air China.
