Air New Zealand launches new Auckland-Wellington Night Rider service for $23.84

Air New Zealand has unveiled plans to launch a new Night Rider service between Auckland and Wellington next month and is offering cheap tickets for travel to these two destinations.

The airline said that cheap flights from Auckland to Wellington can be booked now for inaugural service starting from November 5, 2012. The customers are being offered tickets for only $23.84 (29 New Zealand Dollar).

The airline stated that every seat on the last flight of the day between these two cities would be available for $23.84.

Air New Zealand in a statement said that the flights would be departing from Auckland and Wellington at 10 pm every night from Sunday through Friday.

However, the Night Rider service would depart at 9 pm from Auckland to Wellington on Saturdays. The return flight would depart from Wellington on the same day at 10.30 pm.

The airline would be operating a 133-seat Boeing 737 aircraft on Auckland-Wellington route. All the seats on this aircraft being deployed for Night Rider service would be available for only $23.84. The passengers would be charged $8.22 (10 New Zealand Dollar) for taking a bag along with them.
