Air New Zealand revamping Boeing 777-200ER long haul fleet, to showcase latest business class seats

Air New Zealand recently announced it will be revamping its entire Boeing 777-200ER long haul fleet. The upgrade will see new seats being refitted in all the cabins. The airline will also equip the fleet with an all-new state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment using touchscreens.

The airline in a statement said that the process of revamp of the first of eight Boeing 777-200 aircrafts will start in the second quarter of 2014. The airline plans to complete the overhaul of all the eight aircrafts in the following 12 months.

Air New Zealand stated that the revamp will see the Boeing 777-200 aircrafts showcasing the latest Business Premier business class seats. Apart from this, new Premium Economy Spaceseat and Economy Class seats will also be installed on the aircrafts.

The airline has already installed the Premium Economy Spaceseat and Economy Class seats on its Boeing 777-300ER aircrafts and these will also soon installed on its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners.
