AirTran Airways huge traffic gains at Dayton airport in July

AirTran Airways recently said that it has made huge traffic gains at Dayton International Airport for the month of July.

As per reports, nearly 25,800 passengers traveled in July, up 21% as compared to the same month in 2010.

AirTran Airways in a statement said that it could make biggest traffic gains because of the addition of nonstop flight to Orlando.

Besides AirTran Airways, other airlines such as American Airlines, United Airlines and Delta Air Lines also reported significant increase in passenger traffic.

American Airlines reported 17.5% increase; United Airlines posted 10.9% increase; and Delta Air Lines reported an increase of 2.9%.
