Alaska Airlines cheap tickets starting $159 for new Portland-Washington flights

Alaska Airlines recently announced it will be launching a new route and offer flight services between Portland and Washington D.C.

Alaska Airlines flights will start operating between Portland and Washington D.C.’s Ronald Reagan National Airport from August 28, 2012. The government has already approved the flight schedule.

The airline in a statement said that it is the only carrier which will begin nonstop service from Portland International Airport to Ronald Reagan National Airport in Washington D.C.

The airline is currently operating three daily nonstop flights to Ronald Reagan National Airport – two from Seattle and one from Los Angeles.

To mark the new route, Alaska Airlines flight tickets are being offered to the passengers starting from $159* one-way. This offer is valid when Alaska Airlines flight reservations are made latest by June 13, 2012. The travel period starts from August 28 through November 7, 2012. Alaska Airlines' Mileage Plan members can also earn double miles on the new nonstop flights from August 28 through October 29, 2012.

Departure: 9.30 am – Arrival: 5.40pm – Frequency: Daily

Washington D.C. to Portland

Departure: 5.10 pm – Arrival: 7.55 pm – Frequency: Daily
