Alaska Airlines to launch direct nonstop flights between Seattle and San Antonio Sept 17

Alaska Airlines recently announced it will be launching direct nonstop flights services between Seattle and San Antonio.

The airline is offering air tickets at cheap rates for flights to San Antonio International Airport from Seattle being introduced from September 17, 2012.

The airline’s decision to start the flights between the two cities is going to benefit those associated with aerospace and high-technology industries.
Alaska Airlines in a statement said that it will be deploying a Boeing 737-800 aircraft equipped with 16 seats in first class and 141 in the main cabin to operate on the newly-launched Seattle-San Antonio route.

This will be for the first time that the airline will be serving San Antonio International Airport. Apart from this, this will also be for the first time that the airline will be offering nonstop service between the two cities for the first time.

The passengers are being offered a $139 promotional one-way fare to mark the launch of the new route. The passengers are required to purchase their tickets latest by June 13, 2012 for travel between September 17 and November 7, 2012.
