With the inauguration of its everyday non-stop service between HND and the Austrian capital starting from 17th February 2019, All Nippon Airways has declared to head to Vienna next year. Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, one of the newest aircraft of the carrier will be used to handle the flights. The aircraft is set up in two layouts. For business class travelers flying on this route, lower-capacity 215-seat alternative will be used to operate the Vienna service. Primarily, it features more business class seats when compared to its higher capacity version.
The aircraft is divided into two cabins. Featuring fully flat seats for ultimate comfort, they are all arranged in 1-2-1 configuration. This signifies that the flyers have direct access to the aisles.
The other form of the aircraft 787-9 also has a premium economy cabin featuring 21 seats whereas in its economy version, there are 146 seats.
Seiichi Takahashi, senior vice president of the airline stated, ‘Vienna is widely revered for being a geographical and historical gateway to Eastern and Central Europe, hence, we are striving to build up a strong relationship between this lively region and Japan by launching flights suitable for discerning tourists as well as business travelers.’
