Allegiant Air launching Wilkes-Barre/Scranton-Orlando flights June 21

Allegiant Air recently announced it will be launching new nonstop flight services between Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in Pennsylvania and Orlando in Florida starting from June 21, 2012. The passengers are being offered cheap air tickets starting as low as $83.99* one-way to celebrate the new route. The special fare must be purchased by May 8, 2012, for travel by November 13, 2012.

The airline in a statement said that the new flights will be operated twice weekly between Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport and Orlando Sanford International Airport. This will be the only nonstop, commercial jet service being offered by Allegiant Air to Orlando.

Andrew C. Levy, President of Allegiant Travel Company, said that the company is pleased to provide an affordable and convenient travel option to Wilkes-Barre and Scranton. He said that the new service will prove to be a boon for the residents of Northeastern Pennsylvania as it will help them fly nonstop to Orlando. 

Barry Centini, Director of Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, welcomed the news that Allegiant will be serving Northeaster Pennsylvania with service to Orlando. He said that Orlando continues to be their one of the top destinations, and it will be good that Allegiant Air will be providing Northeastern Pennsylvania area's families and businesses with convenient, nonstop service to Orlando.
