Traveling on American Airlines has become convenient with lower airfares now. Media reports recently said that it’s easier and quite cheaper than previously when booking flights on American Airlines for travel within the United States or Canada or Mexico from New Zealand.
According to the reports, business class seats on the airline are being offered at discounts of nearly one third off normal prices. This is being attributed to strong competition across the Pacific. The airline is offering its customers highly discounted return economy fares in addition to bonus internal flights within permissible mileage limits. The customers can also avail the advantage in business class as well.
A spokesperson of American Airlines in a statement said that the customers are welcome to book their flights in economy class or business class to any destination in the U.S., Canada or Mexico, and would be able to enjoy the benefit of the first two stopovers for free.
Travel experts said that the market is currently sensitive indeed to cheap airfares. This is being seen for quite some time in Europe, and it’s the turn of North America to be impacted. For example, if somebody is flying to the U.S. from New Zealand then the customers have the flexibility of traveling in any of the three airlines serving destinations in the two countries. This has therefore given rise to stiff competition among the rival carriers and resulting in great pricing that has already been seen early this year. In fact, the market was under huge pressure for keeping the fares low to North America.
The experts further said that the airfares to the United States had been lower on occasions during this year. The availability of cheap fares to Europe on a large scale because of sale in recent times for travel through next year is also going to ensure that the airlines operating flights to the United States would continue to keep prices competitive and would like to see their planes full.
