American Airlines offers 28 business seats on additional DFW-Heathrow flight

American Airlines recently announced that it will increase its frequency on Dallas-Fort Worth-London Heathrow route this summer.

The airline will add a fourth daily flight on the route, to be operated 6-times a week, starting June 14. The airline also said that there will be five daily flights between its Texas hub Dallas-Fort Worth and London Heathrow when combined with transatlantic business partner British Airways.

The airline will deploy a Boeing 767-300 aircraft configured with 28 business class seats to operate additional flight on the route. The Boeing 767-300 aircraft has a total capacity of 219 seats.

The increased frequencies have come at a time when American Airlines will mark its 30th anniversary of flights on Dallas-Fort Worth-London Heathrow route with the launch of a daily service in 1982. Later, the airline had increased the service to three daily flights and moved to London Heathrow in 2008.
