Austrian Airlines introducing innovative seats in business class

Austria’s national flag carrier Austrian Airlines recently announced it will be upgrading its entire long-haul fleet. The airline has decided to introduce innovative business class seats.

The airline in a statement said that the innovative seats being introduced in business class cabins on its long-haul fleet can be transformed into full-flat beds.

The airline also disclosed that apart from upgrading its business class flights, it will also its economy class with new, modern seats as well as state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment system.

Jaan Albrecht, Chief Executive of Austrian Airlines, said that the airline is investing over $1.17 billion (90 million Euros) for upgrading its entire long-haul fleet.

He said that the entire interior design of the aircrafts is being given a new visual as the airline continues to extensively rework on the color concept of its cabins. He also said that the future of Austrian Airlines is greatly linked with this important investment. The fleet upgrade is expected to be complete in spring next year.
