The 10 Gruppen or Ten Swedish Designers was established in 1970 by a group of ten young Swedish textile designers. And, thus this popular design shop was also named as 10 Gruppen. However, only three of the original founding designers - Ingela Håkansson, Tom Hedqvist and Birgitta Hahn – own and operate the 10 Gruppen presently. Svenskt Tenn
The famous interior design shop Svenskt Tenn is situated in Ostermalm in the city. It was founded by Estrid Ericson in 1924. He later on hired widely acclaimed textile designer Josef Frank after a decade of company’s existence. Both Estrid Ericson and Josef Frank created the distinctive and elegant interior design style, which is hugely popular even today and brought them immense fame.
