British Airways is all set for the betterment of its connection service at Heathrow. For the improvement of its services, the airline is incorporating upgraded technology with state-of-the-art vehicles as well as talented professionals in order to smoothen up the process. The carrier says it is making a number of enhancements for the betterment of its passengers.
British Airways has included a technology of identifying flights with the help of a huge influx of connecting passengers and further to direct flights to the most suitable stand to help flyers depart for the other part of their journey. Furthermore, the carrier has also incorporated the idea of arranging for a vehicle in order to transfer the passengers to their next flight as soon as the carrier recognizes a certain number of travelers getting transferred to the same flight.
In addition, the airline has also appointed connections manager who would be responsible to keep an eye on flight arrivals and arrange for tight connections for the travelers so that they could be communicated with even in the air. The passengers would also be given information packs and Express Connect status to fast-track them during security checkpoints and flight connections.
It has also been stated that British Airways has arranged for chauffeur driven executive car for travelers flying in Club World, First or Club Europe. In addition, Silver Executive Club and British Airways Gold members would also be given preference.
