British Airways offering double Avios on selected routes

Passengers booking business class tickets on British Airways have good news awaiting them. The customers will be able to double their bonus points now.
British Airways recently announced it will be offering double Avios bonus points for its customers booking business class flights or traveling in first class on selected routes.

The airline has decided to offer double Avios along with its transatlantic joint venture partners American Airlines and Iberia. The offer will be available through December 31, 2012.

According to the airline, the customers would be able to avail bonus points when booking seats on British Airways’ First Class and Club World cabins and flying on fare codes F, A, P, J or D.

Apart from British Airways, the customers booking tickets in American Airlines’ first and business class cabins are flying on fare codes F, A, P, J, D or R are also eligible for this offer. Similarly, this offer is also available for customers booking business class seats in Iberia’s Business Plus cabin and flying on fare codes J, C or D.
