Cheap airfares offered on Air New Zealand Night Rider service

Air New Zealand has launched Night Rider service between Auckland and Christchurch offering cheap airfares across every seat currently on offer on its late night flights. The service has also been launched between Auckland and Wellington as well.

According to the airline, the Auckland-Christchurch Night Rider flight would depart from both Auckland and Christchurch after 9.30 pm. The flights between the two destinations would operate from Thursdays to Mondays. The Night Rider service on Auckland-Christchurch route would be available for travel starting from November 7, 2013 until January 31, 2014.

Regarding the Auckland-Wellington service, Air New Zealand said that the Night Rider flight would depart every night from both Auckland and Wellington through to September 29, 2013. The service on Auckland-Wellington route would, however, operate five nights every week starting from September 30, 2013. The flights would depart from Auckland Sunday through Friday at 10 pm, while on Saturdays it will be from 9 pm. From Wellington, the flight will depart at 10.30 pm.

The customers on Night Rider service will not be offered the traditional in-flight drink and snack service. Air New Zealand further stated that unaccompanied minors, and pets traveling as checked baggage would not be accepted on Night Rider flights.
