China Airlines unveils delectable In-Flight Chinese cuisine menu for first and business class

China Airlines recently unveiled its delectable In-Flight menu of Chinese cuisine exclusively prepared for first and business class passengers on select routes. The menu has been created by Tokyo-based Michelin-star chef Albert Tse.

The menu was introduced this January, and is being currently offered to passengers on Tokyo Haneda-Songshan, Tokyo Narita-Honolulu, Taoyuan-Tokyo Narita, and Tokyo Narita-Kaohsiung business class flights.

Besides, first class passengers taking Taoyuan-San Francisco and Taoyuan-Los Angeles flights are also being offered this exclusive menu.

The menu created by Chef Albert Tse for China Airlines combines traditional flavors with an innovative twist. The chef used Taiwanese ingredients like sweet potato and vanilla pork with healthy cooking techniques and little oil for preparing this exquisite menu.

China Airlines said that the chef has taken cabin conditions into account while preparing the menu. In fact, Chef Tse modified his China Blue recipes to create "Beijing duck flavor- with crispy bean curd, homemade sauce, lettuce, dehydrated pineapple, crushed pistachio" and "avocado mousse".

Exotic creations like "braised morel mushroom soup", "steamed chicken with assorted vegetables, multi grain rice", and "seared herb fed pork loin with special satay sauce" are included in the main courses. A new dessert called "pomelo-flavored sweet soup with diced apple and pearl barley" has also been created.
