Delta Air Lines app makes checked luggage tracking easy

Whether you are taking cheap flights to New York or flying business class to Denver, you don’t have to worry at all if you have lost your baggage. Delta Air Lines has just made it easy for you to track your baggage with its new app.

Delta Air Lines recently introduced an app for smart-phone users that will help them in tracking their checked luggage while on their journey. The new feature Fly Delta smart-phone app is proving to be of a great help to the passengers taking Delta Air Lines flights as it helps them in tracking checked luggage in real time as well as in knowing which baggage carousel is holding their bags.

The bag-tracking feature has been designed in such a way that it will help passengers, whether traveling on domestic or international flights, to track their baggage even though they are in-flight. The passengers are only required to enter the number on their bag tag receipt, and they will instantly start keeping tab on their baggage’s journey from departure to arrival as well as all points in between. The app will allow iPhone users to scan the barcode to keep track of their baggage.

The app is available free for the users of Android, iPhone and Window Phone. From next year, the app will also be available for BlackBerry users.
