Delta Air Lines recently announced they are installing full flat-bed business class seats on more than 140 wide body aircrafts.
The airline also disclosed that they are adding personal, in-seat entertainment for both Business Elite and Economy Class passengers on all of their wide body aircrafts. Terminal facilities for passengers taking international flights through Atlanta or New York’s JFK, their two largest global gateways, are also being improved.
Delta stated that it will now provide free access to online shopping at Amazon.com and Amazonwireless.com on board all of their flights, including Delta Connection, with in-flight Wi-Fi service. According to the airline, the passengers will be required to click on one of the Amazon banners within their browser to start shopping online.
Currently Delta is operating the world’s largest Wi-Fi equipped fleet of aircrafts, including their entire fleet of 550 domestic mainline aircrafts.
