Delta Air Lines introduces new lie-flat business class seats

Delta Air Lines recently will start offering new lie-flat business class seats on flights between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport from March next year.

The airline in a statement said that customers booking business class tickets on New York JFK-Los Angeles route would be able to enjoy the airline’s newly-installed lie-flat seats in BusinessElite premium cabins. The new seats have been installed on Boeing 767 aircraft, which will be used to conduct flight operations on the route.

The airline also disclosed that it will be introducing more business class seats on Boeing 767 and 757 aircrafts on San Francisco and Seattle routes during the next two years.

Delta Air Lines stated that it will be operating a total of seven daily nonstop flights between New York JFK and Los Angeles by June 2013. Apart from this, the airline will also be operating one of five daily nonstop flights to Seattle with the upgraded business class seats.
