Delta Air Lines recently announced it has upgraded its service between the U.S. and Brazil and would be introducing full flat-bed seats on business class flights between Rio de Janeiro and Atlanta.
The airline in a statement said that the full flat-bed seats would be available to customers booking business class tickets on flights to be launched from October 27, 2012.
Nicolas E. Ferri, Delta Air Line’s Vice President – Latin America and Caribbean, said that the introducing of full flat-bed seats BusinessElite cabin on Rio de Janeiro-Atlanta route is aimed offering travelers from Brazil a superior travel experience.
He said that all 40 business class seats in BusinessElite cabin would offer the customers a fully horizontal sleeping experience. They will also be provided with a full-size pillow and duvet. The customers would also have increased privacy and direct aisle access onboard their flights.
Apart from Rio de Janeiro-Atlanta route, Delta Air Lines is already providing full flat-bed seats on business class flights between Sao Paulo and both New York JFK and Atlanta.
