Delta Air Lines London-Atlanta flights to have 39 business class seats

Delta Air Lines recently announced that it will launch more flights to Atlanta from London Heathrow airport to boost access to the southern United States this year.

The airline will be launching two daily flight services to Atlanta from London Heathrow starting from April 18, 2012.

Delta Air Lines will deploy a Boeing 767-400 long-range aircraft equipped with 39 fully flat business class seats on its second daily flight from London Heathrow to Atlanta.

Perry Cantarutti, Delta Airline’s Senior Vice President in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, said that the passengers will get an opportunity to travel in cheap business class flights to or through Atlanta from London Heathrow with increased travel options provided by a second daily flight, with over 150 convenient connections to the US, Latin America and the Caribbean.

The increase in frequencies between London Heathrow and Atlanta comes at a time when Delta Air Lines has decided to suspend flights to London Gatwick-Atlanta route this spring.

Delta Air Lines also disclosed that it will soon open a new international terminal at Hartsfield-Jackson airport in Atlanta.
