Emirates Airline recently announced it will be launching daily flights to Fort Lauderdale from Dubai effective December 15, 2016. The new service is aimed at serving the South Florida area, including West Palm Beach, Miami and Fort Lauderdale. The airline’s expanded U.S. network will see its 11th route becoming operational by the end of this year.
Media reports said that Emirates Airline will be deploying a Boeing 777-200LR aircraft configured in three travel classes to serve Dubai-Fort Lauderdale route. The three classes in the aircraft include First Class, Business Class and Economy Class. The airline will be offering eight First Class suites and 216 seats in Economy Class. However, the premium customers looking forward to booking business class tickets would be offered a total of 42 lie-flat beds in Business Class cabins.
While providing details about the flight schedule on new route, Emirates Airline in a statement said that the outbound Flight EK213 would make its departure from Dubai at 03:00 hours local time and reach Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport at 10:25 hours local time. The return Flight EK214 would take off from Fort Lauderdale at 20:20 hours local time and arrive in Dubai at 19:40 hours next day. The flight duration would be of 14 hours and 20 minutes.
The travelers from Dubai and other Middle East countries to the United States can look forward to onward connections as Emirates Airline is into codeshare partnership with JetBlue Airways. The partnership will allow Middle East travelers to 26 destinations in the United States and 19 destinations throughout Latin America and the Caribbean, including Havana, Cancun and the Bahamas. Apart from these, Emirates Airline also operates flights from Dubai to Orlando International Airport offering more options for travelers from either destination.
