The major revamp of Business Class Lounge at Dubai International Airport’s Concourse B has now been completed. Emirates Airline announced the completion of the revamp in a statement to mediapersons recently. The new-look lounge will also have a champagne lounge, a cocktail bar and a sports bar.
Media reports said that the refurbishment project by Emirates Airline was undertaken at an estimated $11 million. The entire revamp exercise was completed in a period of two years. UAE’s leading carrier Emirates Airline has been continuously investing to upgrade its products and provide best possible customer experience, both on the ground and in the air.
The airline also indicated that it is committed to upgrade amenities for its premium customers in its other business class lounges as well within the next year. There are plans to introduce a cocktail bar and a sports bar in all its lounges. A spokesperson of Emirates Airline said that an enhanced lounge experience awaits its premium customers at the renovated Emirates Business Class Lounge, which will now have three new distinct concept areas.
Emirates Airline has entered into partnership with Costa Coffee for offering a barista experience to all those visiting the revamped lounge. A Health Hub has been introduced in the lounge for its health conscious customers. The health hub will be prominently featuring a healthy menu of salads, wraps and gourmet sandwiches. Apart from these, smoothies and a selection of juices would also be available as part of healthier beverages. The airline has also entered into collaboration with Moët & Chandon for creating a unique selection of canapés at the exclusive champagne lounge specially created for Emirates Airline.
The newly revamped Emirates Business Class Lounge is spread in an area of about 10,000 square feet. The lounge will now have a capacity for accommodating over 1,500 visitors at a time. The seating capacity has thus increased to 40 percent.
