Emirates introducing 8 First Class suites on Seattle-Dubai flights

Leading Middle East carrier Emirates recently announced that it will be introducing eight First Class suites on its flights to Seattle from Dubai. The passengers will be offered first class suites at $15,000.

The first class suites will be featured on Boeing 777s to be operated daily on Seattle-Dubai route. The first class suites will be equipped with a full bed and 27-inch screen.

Nigel Page, Emirates’ Senior Vice of Operations for the Americas, said that the Boeing 777s will carry a total of 354 passengers on each flight.

Emirates and Alaska Airlines also recently signed a frequent flier agreement which will come into effect from March 1, 2012.

Alaska Airlines, which has its hub at Seattle, said that beginning March this year the passengers will be able to fly from Seattle to Dubai nonstop on Emirates for about 100,000 frequent flier miles.

Emirates is scheduled to start flights to Seattle from Dubai from March 1.

The launching of Seattle-Dubai flights will enable easier connectivity to Alaska Airlines passengers to go to India using this route.
