Emirates to offer free chauffeur-driven limo service taking first class flights from Scotland

Leading Middle East carrier Emirates has come up with an exciting plan for travelers from Scotland taking first class flights to Dubai.

The airline recently announced it will be offering free chauffeur-driven limousine service to passengers from across Scotland taking first class flights to Dubai starting from June this year.

The airline in a statement said that it would drive first class passengers to Glasgow airport for flights to Dubai from up to 150 miles away – as far as Aberdeen and Inverness.

Emirates flights between Glasgow and Dubai is being doubled to twice daily from June 1, 2012. The airline will be offering first class seats on the route, priced at up to $4,201.86 (£2,600) one-way, apart from the existing business class and economy class.

Currently, the airline provides free limo service for business class passengers from up to 70 miles from Glasgow.

Emirates stated that the free limo service has helped in attracting passengers from the Edinburgh area ever since the Glasgow-Dubai route was launched in 2004. Flights between Glasgow and Dubai offer a one-stop link from Scotland to Asia and Australia.
