Ethiopian Airlines offers “Buy One Get One Free”

Ethiopian Airlines has now joined the Star Alliance membership and become its 28th proud member. The airline became Star Alliance member on December 13, 2011. To celebrate the event, Ethiopian Airlines has announced promotional “Buy One Get One Free” sale for one week. The offer is valid for sale from December 19-25, 2011. The outbound travel is valid from February 1, 2012 to March 30, 2012, with a maximum stay of 3 months.

The first passenger is required to pay the full fare, while the second passenger is allowed free travel along with the first passenger. The second passenger will, however, be also required to pay the usual applicable taxes and other charges including fuel surcharges along with the first passenger.

The “Buy One Get One Free” offer will however be not applicable on the following days:

IAD-ADD (Outbound)* – on Saturdays
ADD-IAD (Inbound)* – on Fridays and Saturdays

The offer is applicable for travel to all Ethiopian destinations from major US cities, such as Washington Dulles, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Dallas-Fort Worth, Fort Lauderdale, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Orlando, New York City, San Francisco, and others. Cheap tickets to Addis Ababa and other Ethiopian destinations are available starting at US$1199. Stopovers are not permitted on this offer. Tickets are nonrefundable. However, itinerary changes are permitted after paying a fare difference or change fee of US$300, as per applicable. Other terms and conditions of the regular fare are applicable.
