Etihad Airways bags all three First Class titles at World Airline Awards 2012

UAE’s national carrier Etihad Airways has become the proud winner of all three First Class titles at the recently-held World Airline Awards 2012 by Skytrax.

The airline won the awards in all First Class categories. The awards received by Etihad Airways in this category include ‘Best First Class’, ‘Best First Class Catering’ and ‘Best First Class Seats’.

Etihad Airways in a statement said that it has bagged the ‘Best First Class’ title for the third consecutive year.

Apart from wining First Class titles, the airline had earlier gained success in winning the ‘Best Business Class’ awards presented by Skytrax, a global independent research firm which gives airline ratings according to their performance in various categories.

This year over 18 million air travelers from above 100 countries participated in the voting to rate the airline products, services and other categories. The awards were presented during a ceremony held at UK’s Farnborough Airshow 2012.
