Etihad sweeps top airline honor at WTA held in Doha recently

Etihad Airways has added yet another feather to its cap. The Abu Dhabi based airline has clinched top honors at the World Travel Awards held in a glittering ceremony at Doha recently. The airline got lucky fifth time in a row to sweep the coveted title at the awards function.

The world appreciates the services that it offers, and customers who have traveled on its business class flights can vouch for the same. At the ceremony, the airline walked away with the coveted title of World’s Leading Airline. However, that is not it. The airline also clinched the honors of World’s Leading First class, and World’s Leading Cabin Crew.

World Travel Awards (WTA) is highly regarded in the travel industry. In fact, some have even branded it as the Oscar of the travel industry. This award is special for the airline though it is talking it home for the fifth straight time. The airline management is extremely happy with the results and has thanked all for contributing to its victory. It firmly believes that these awards will help it intensify its focus on maintaining higher standards even in the future. This year the airline polished its First Class Chefs concept in Diamond First Class, offered Wi-Fi on many routes, launched mobile telephone service and live TV, launched Flying Nanny service, and inaugurated First and Business Class lounges in Paris and Washington.
