Finland’s national flag carrier Finnair recently introduced five types of ticket, including two kinds of business class tickets. The airline’s move is aimed at simplifying the process of airline purchase for its customers.
The customers booking business class flights from Finland for travel to various worldwide destinations would be able to purchase newly-introduced tickets from November 28, 2012.
The two types of new business class tickets include Business and Business Saver. According to the airline, the ‘Business’ type offers premium services and full flexibility to the customers. Among various facilities in this category includes meal service, lounge access, two carry-ons, two pieces of checked luggage, unlimited flexibility, advance seat selection, full refunds and 200 percent Finnair Plus points. Apart from this, priority airport services, such as check-in, boarding, security and baggage claim are also offered to the customers.
The airline disclosed that ‘Business Saver’ type is aimed at leisure travelers and would be cost effective for business travelers. The customers can book business class tickets under ‘Business Saver’ only on intercontinental flights.
