Finnair upgrades business class cabin on the eve of its 90th anniversary

Finnair has decided to celebrate its 90th anniversary in style in November 2013. The airline will be rolling out several upgrades to its services that are bound to impress its customers. Among several of its upgrades include state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment with latest offerings on all its long-haul flights, a wide assortment of complimentary wines, spirits and beer in the Helsinki airport lounge, and retrofitting of fully flat-beds on all its business class flights.

Finnair said that its customers booking business class tickets or traveling in Economy Class would be offered a choice of 72 movies and more than 150 TV shows to be available on demand. The airline’s in-flight entertainment options have nearly doubled on all long-haul flights.

The airline said that its customers traveling in Business Class would be entitled to lounge access at Helsinki Airport and will now be getting an upgraded range of complimentary wines, spirits and beer in both Finnair Lounges at the airport. Finnair Plus top-tier loyalty card holders and other customers would also have access to the airline’s lounges at Helsinki Airport.
