First Look at Virgin Hotel Chicago – Opening in January 2015

Virgin Hotel is all set to open its first hotel in the United States in January, 2015 on Wabash Avenue. Located in Old Dearborn Bank Building at 203, North Wabash, the hotel will take its first customers aboard on January 15, 2015.

The hotel features a range of technological advances which makes it the paragon of hospitality. The facilities include well-designed comfortable beds, thermostats controlled by smart phones and various other amenities to ensure a pleasant stay for the customers. The hotel has 250 rooms including 208 rooms and 42 suites, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis court, Spa and Wellness Centre, Fitness Centre and Sauna. The meeting facility has a capacity of up to 150. Executive Chef Rick Gresh has prepared special menus for the vibrant food venues.

The Commons Club is the central meeting place with a bar and a restaurant in the lobby area. The cocktails will offer English flavors along with creative blending of Chicago. The Club will also serve afternoon tea, pastries, finger sandwiches and teas by Rare Tea Cellar. Miss Ricky's, on the ground floor is a diner which can accommodate up to 80 persons. It will have 30 patio seats and 15 counter seats. The interiors will feature an open kitchen, leather chairs and wooden tables. The menu will have all-day breakfast and late-night meals until 4 a.m. An Italian beverage bar, the 203 is a day café and a night wine bar located on the ground floor.

Virgin Hotel Chicago will also offer a unique "Free the Wi-Fi" plan which will enable the customers to get credit at the hotel if they present a recent Wi-Fi bill of another hotel's stay. The credit is only available for a month from the date of hotel’s opening i.e. January 15 to February 15, 2015.

Come spring 2015, the hotel will open a rooftop bar on 26th-floor with 80 outdoor seats and 50 indoor seats.
