Frontier Airlines expand low-fare service to Trenton-Mercer

Frontier Airlines has come up with cheap airfare options for travelers from Indianapolis International Airport. The airline has announced it will be launching its nonstop service to Trenton-Mercer Airport in Ewing, N.J., starting from April 29, 2014. Frontier Airlines is offering cheap airfares starting as low as $49 each way to mark the launch of the new service through November 16 next year.

Frontier Airlines is the only U.S. carrier offering scheduled service out of Trenton-Mercer Airport, the gateway to New Jersey’s state capital. The airline is also the only one to provide flights services to all of central New Jersey, and Southeast Pennsylvania, including metro Philadelphia. The new service between Trenton/Princeton and Indianapolis will be apart from the existing nonstop service to Denver (Colorado) and Cancun (Mexico) from Indianapolis.

Frontier Airlines will be deploying a 138-seat Airbus A319 aircraft to operate all its flights to Trenton/Princeton. According to the airline, the customers would be offered many amenities on board their flights, such as five rows of exclusive comfortable stretch seating with an additional 6 inches of legroom. The airline offers STRETCH and SELECT seating to its customers when booking their flight tickets. David Siegel, Chief Executive Officer of Frontier Airlines, said that the launch of new service would prove to be of great benefit to the customers, particularly to Indianapolis area residents, who will now get a new low-fare option.
