Gulf Air to unveil the Heathrow T4 lounge

Gulf Air will soon remove the curtain from its new lounge at the Heathrow, terminal 4. The airline will be inaugurating the new lounge on 8th March 2011.

Currently, the premium passengers flying through Gulf Air from London Heathrow use the Skyteam lounge at T4, but after 8th of March the passengers will be able to enjoy the carrier’s own state-of-the-art facilities.

The lounge will be featured with luxurious seating for more than 30 people, washrooms with shower facilities, wireless internet connection, light refreshments and snacks, hand-baggage and coat storage, TV monitors, and newspapers and magazines.

The consultancy firm McBains Cooper was given the lounge contract long back, and its completion was due in 2008. The project was then postponed to March 2009, and now finally the day has arrived for its launch.

According to the airline spokesperson the launch will take place at the mentioned date though, there have been some political disturbances in Bahrain.
