Pu Ming, Hainan Airlines’ Vice President, said, “With the launch of new flights, the customers will now be offered direct connections to both U.S. East Coast and U.S. West Coast from Chongqing. The new route will also help in establishing Chongqing as a major aviation hub globally, and also further strengthening business and cultural ties between the United States and China.”
Meanwhile, Hainan Airlines has become a recipient of the “SKYTRAX Five-Star Airline Award” for the seventh consecutive time. The airline has been acknowledged for its quality products and high standards of service both on the ground and on board its flights. Apart from this, Hainan Airlines has also been ranked third in the “World’s Safest Airlines” category on the Jet Airliner Crash Data Evaluation Centre’s 2016 list. This has so far been the best ever ranking to be achieved by a Chinese carrier.
