Hainan Airlines Touchdowns Kolkata

Hainan Airlines is planning to reach out to the India bound travelers with its latest move of touching down Kolkata during the Mahalaya, an auspicious festival across the region.

This move would bring in more flights to Kolkata. Hainan Airlines is the second airline to connect Kolkata with a Chinese city, Shenzen in this case.

These new flights will run twice weekly and give even the Hong Kong bound travelers from India more flight options since Shenzen is hardly a 45 minutes drive away from Hong Kong.

The flight frequency may go up from twice weekly to thrice weekly in the winter schedule; commencing from November 1. The inaugural flight would touch down at 4:45 pm and leave the city at 6 pm.
