Hawaiian Airlines recently announced it is planning to launch daily nonstop flights to Honolulu from Tokyo Narita starting from July 22, 2016. The new Tokyo Narita (NRT) route will be complementing the airline’s daily flights to Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND). With the launch of additional service, the travelers in the Greater Tokyo region will now get two daily flight options to seamlessly connect to Honolulu International Airport (HNL).
Tokyo Narita will now become Hawaiian Airlines’ fourth destination in Japan and 11th international destination. The airline first launched its flights services from Honolulu to Tokyo Haneda in November 2010. Two routes in Japan were later on launched. The airline started offering its services to Osaka in July 2011, while flights to Sapporo were launched in October 2012.
Hawaiian Airlines while providing its new schedule to NRT said that its Flight HA821 will take off from Honolulu at 3.30 pm and reach Tokyo Narita at 7.00 pm next day. The return Flight HA822 will make its departure from Tokyo Narita at 9 pm and reach Honolulu at 9.55 am same day.
Mark Dunkerley, President and Chief Executive Officer of Hawaiian Airlines, said: “It is a matter of great delight for the airline to carry more than 800,000 passengers between Honolulu and Tokyo Haneda ever since the daily A330 service was launched more than 5 years ago. The company is highly satisfied that Hawaiian Airlines has become a carrier of choice for Japanese travelers with average load factors exceeding 90 percent routinely. The travelers between Honolulu and the Greater Tokyo region will now get flexible travel options with the launch of additional service.”
