Hawaiian Airlines to add more flights to Los Angeles this winter

Hawaiian Airlines has recently announced that it will be adding more flights between Los Angeles and Oahu and Maui. This service will be valid during November 2014 to January 2015 time period.

This expanded winter season service will cater passengers with more options to fly during their holidays. Currently the airline is providing year-round, direct, daily flights between Los Angeles and Maui. From November 20, 2014 a second flight will be added on this route, which will range from four times per week to daily flights and will function for over seven weeks. This added service will add a total of 20,000 seats on this route.

From December 5, 2014, a fourth flight will be added on Los Angeles – Honolulu route, which will range from three to five times per week. This service will function during the month of December.
The airline will also offer an additional 8,400 between Los Angeles and Oahu in over four weeks of service.

Peter Ingram, vice president of Hawaiian Airlines, said that they are glad to introduce the extra flights between the Hawaiian Islands and Los Angeles. We have decided to offer these additional seats to fulfill the tourism demand arising during the peak travel season between Los Angeles and Hawaii Islands. We are very happy to answer to their calls for the added service as desired.

The additional seasonal flights on these routes will be operated using wide-body 264-seat Boeing 767-300ER aircraft. Seats on this aircraft are configured in two classes with 18 seats in business class and 246 seats in economy class. Hawaiian’s Boeing 767 offers amenities like spacious interiors with increased legroom. It also offers iPad minis for a nominal fee, which comes preloaded with ample Hollywood films, TV shows, and games.
