Iberia introduces new flight service to Rabat

The Spanish flagship carrier, Iberia Airlines has recently announced the launch of new flight service between Madrid and Rabat. The airline will operate its A320 aircraft, twice-weekly between the two cities from 1st July 2011.

As per Iberia the new flight service will benefit the passengers traveling to short haul destinations including London via Madrid.

The new flight service will depart from Madrid on Monday at 11.40am and on Friday at 01.00pm and will arrive in Rabat at 12.10pm and 01.30pm, respectively. The round trip flight will then depart from Rabat at 12.50pm on Monday and on Friday at 2.30pm will arrive in back Madrid at 03.15pm and 04.55pm respectively.

The new launch will make Rabat the fourth destination after Casablanca, Marrakech and Tangier, to be served by Iberia.

The airline in a statement said, “The new flights are timed for the convenience of passengers arriving in Madrid from Iberia's 54 short- and medium-haul destinations, including Berlin, Dusseldorf, Lisbon, London, Milan, Moscow, Paris and Rome.”
