Japan Airlines San Francisco-Tokyo Dreamliner service launched

Here’s good news for flyers on transpacific routes from Tokyo’s Haneda Airport. Japan Airlines has announced the launch of its Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner service to San Francisco. This will be the first such service to be operated regularly to/from San Francisco International Airport.

The daily Boeing 787-8 service started operating from August 31, 2013 on San Francisco-Tokyo Haneda route. With the launch on the new service, the number of Dreamliner service on transpacific routes has now increased to three.

The Dreamliners now being operated on San Francisco-Tokyo Haneda route is configured in two classes – Business Class and Economy Class. The airline has allocated 42 seats to the passengers traveling on business class tickets. For Economy Class travel, the Dreamliner aircraft is equipped with 144 seats.

Business class flyers can now look forward to an amazing experience while being seated on JAL SHELL FLAT NEO seats, which will be 2 inches wider than those fitted on the airline’s Boeing 777 aircrafts. The passengers would be offered access to window or aisle seating. The business class lavatory on the Dreamliner aircraft is also equipped with a warm-water TOTO Washlet.
