JetBlue Airways introducing premium seating on New York flights

JetBlue Airways has decided to switch to two-class service in some markets. The customers aspiring to buy cheap business class tickets on JetBlue Airways are in for good times. The airline has decided to introduce new premium “Mint” seating on flights to New York from San Francisco and Los Angeles.

According to JetBlue Airways, the new “Mint” service would offer fully-flat beds to the customers in domestic business class. The other important highlights of the service include private suites, dual power outlets with USB ports, amenity kits and Saxon+Parole-designed tapas menu.

JetBlue Airways announced that it will introduce the new business class service on flights between Los Angeles International Airport and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport in summer 2014. The airline also stated that the new service will also be introduced on flights between San Francisco International Airport and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport in fall 2014. By introducing the service JetBlue Airways expects to woo business class fliers from traditional carriers on these lucrative New York routes. The airline said that it will be exclusively dedicating 11 new Airbus A321 aircrafts for the two routes. Each aircraft will have 16 lie-flat seats, with four of them being private suites.
