JetBlue Airways Irene-affected customers change fees waived

JetBlue Airways has announced that it will compensate its customers who have been affected by Hurricane Irene.

The airline, which provides cheap flight deals regularly, said that in view of the impact of Hurricane Irene it has decided to waive fare differences  and change fees so that customers due to travel on August 26, 2011 to or from some of the select Florida destinations are able to adjust their travel plans voluntarily.

According to the airline, the new flights between the same cities departing anytime through August 28, 2011 can be rebooked by the customers. Besides, the customers are also required to make changes prior to their originally scheduled departure.

The cities where the customers can rebook their flights include Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Orlando and West Palm Beach.
