KLM introducing fully-flat business class seat to San Francisco

If you are taking business class flights to San Francisco on KLM Royal Dutch Airlines in July this year, then be ready to get a great flying experience in the newly-designed World Business Class cabins. KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has recently announced it will introduce fully-flat business class seats on many long haul flights on its global network. The airline is all set to launch its first Boeing 747-400 aircraft with new interiors on Amsterdam-San Francisco route on July 28, 2014.

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines in a statement said that it will be refurbishing its entire fleet by April this year. With the new upgrades the airline aims to provide the best flying experience to its business class customers by providing at-home feeling on board their flight.

According to the airline, the new fully-flat seats have been designed for optimum comfort. The seats can be reclined horizontally. The horizontal recline will enable the passengers to lie fully flat. While designing the seats, extra care has been taken to ensure greater privacy for the customers. The seats in the World Business Class also have storage compartments for the passenger. Such compartments can also be found under the television screens as well. The seats in the new World Business Class have now been reduced from 42 to 35.
