Korean Air considering flights to Peru in future

Korean Air has announced that it is actively considering beginning flights to Peru in the near future.

The airline disclosed that a delegation of its officials recently visited the Andean country Peru to explore options and study the feasibility of starting Peru flights.

Korean Air’s Latin America manager is likely to sign the airline’s Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP) in Peru. BSP is an automated system for facilitating and simplifying the remitting, reporting and selling procedures of IATA Accredited Passenger Sales Agents, apart from improving cash flow and financial control for BSP Airlines.

Jose Luis Silva, Foreign Trade and Tourism Minister of Peru, said that the country is already having flight connections with Europe and United States. Starting of flights to Asia from Peru will be a major step forward in boosting its tourism prospects as well as fulfilling the demands tourists eager to visit numerous tourist attractions in the country.
