According to a recent study, Middle Eastern carriers as well as Far Eastern airlines dominated the top 10 for providing the best amenity kits to their premium customers. The airlines which received a six-star review include Emirates Airlines, Etihad Airways, Japan Airlines, Qatar Airways and United Airlines. However, other carriers such as Air Canada, Condor and Iberia trumped in the ratings and were awarded three stars only.
Just sample what all contains in the amenity bags provided to premium customers by the leading airlines. Those booking flights on Emirates Airlines are offered a Bulgari designed dark brown leather bag along with Bulgari products such as perfume, after-shave cream, body lotion, Gillette shaving foam, toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, deodorant and tissues.
Some of the amenity kits offered to First Class customers was provided in totes designed by luxury brands such as Bulgari and Bally and consisted of designer cosmetics from famous brands like Dior, Dermologica and Clarins. The kits also contained a pillow mist, pulse point oil, emery boards and ear plugs.
British Airways, which was awarded five-star rating, offered a His or Hers cosmetic bag to its First and Club World passengers. The amenity bags offered to women travelers consisted of Aromatherapy Associates products such as lip balm, orange flower hand lotion, eye serum, and rose cleanser and moisturizer. The amenity bags offered to male passengers comprised of a pen, toothpaste, toothbrush, razor, a foldable comb/brush, and Refinery products.
