Lufthansa launches its lounges at Newark Liberty Airport

Lufthansa, the leading airline of Germany has pleasant news for its customers. The airline just recently inaugurated its premium lounges at Newark Liberty international Airport in New York. The airline has invested multi-million dollars in this project.

These lounges will benefit passengers booking business class flights with the airline and travel to, and from the airport. The airline has used the services of Voorsanger Architects in New York. These lounges are expected to generate 35 new jobs and open job opportunities for many seekers. The airline is upbeat about its brand new lounges. It believes it will prove to be a generous host to passengers visiting its premises during the course of their travel with the airline.

The Business and Senator Lounges will cater to the airline’s premium passengers and Miles & More club members. The airline is a member of Star Alliance. Hence, other alliance members including Swisss can also access these lounges. This newly opened Senator lounge can easily accommodate 69 passengers and the Business lounge has space for 60 passengers at a time.

Both these lounges are located in Terminal B of the airport and share close proximity to the airline’s departure gates. At present, the airline flies to over 190 destinations worldwide. Currently, it is also the title holder of the largest airline in Europe.
