Lufthansa amazed everyone by announcing its big introduction of A380 flights from its peripheral hub in Munich. The airline stated that there are 14 A380s in total, out of which five jetliners will be stationed at Munich to function airlines flying to and from Beijing, Hong Kong and Los Angeles.
Now, it’s A380 which serves flights namely LH722/3 to and from Beijing, LH452/3 flying to and from Los Angeles as well as LH730/1 operating to and from Hong Kong. The superjumbo flights of the airline are classified by four classes. Economy class comes with 371 seats, business class accommodates passengers with 78 seats, premium economy has 52 seats whereas there are eight seats in first class. Wilken Bormann, CEO of the Munich Hub stated, ‘With the introduction of A380, we are inclined towards providing our passengers a world class aircraft with satisfying amenities and services. This start at Munich is our first step towards progression and fulfilment of our goals.’
As per reports, Lufthansa is not the only one to start the regular A380 carriers from Munich. Walking hand to hand with Lufthansa, Emirates- popular gulf airlines operates two out of three Dubai-Munich flights on everyday basis along with the superjumbo.
