Lufthansa to increase business class options to Abu Dhabi

Lufthansa, while responding to the increase in demand for cheaper air tickets as well as more business flights from Frankfurt to Abu Dhabi, has announced in conjunction with the Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) that they would increase the number of flights between the two cities. As per passenger traffic report between the two cities, there has been an increase by 14% as compared with last year.

As per the announcement, more business class flights would be added to route this October. The move would not only bode well for the business travelers but also for those who travel in economy classes- since the announcement did not confirm whether the flights would be exclusively business class.

Once this takes place, it would be the second time in last 12 months that the airline has upgraded its flight capacity on the route. Earlier Lufthansa had added daily service on this route; up from six weekly flights.

Airbus A330-300 would be deployed on the route for non-stop flights to Frankfurt, leaving Abu Dhabi daily 1.15am local time.
