Lufthansa Upgrades Business Class Experience on Its UAE Flights

Lufthansa Airlines will soon offer upgraded business class seats on all its UAE flights by the end of summer 2015. Changes have already been made on nearly 30 percent aircraft's operating this sector.

Full recline is the biggest change these seats will offer. Most of the flights operated by Lufthansa from UAE depart post midnight, making sleep the most integral part of any passenger’s journey. Hence, seats reclining at the way back in business class section will come as a respite for passengers.

The seats will also offer additional storage space, apt for keeping shoes, magazines, newspapers and more. Improved onboard food will tantalize the pallets of passengers, with flavors matching to any top notch hotel in the world. Noise cancellation Sennheiser headphones offering startling quality audio sound have been offered to enhance the overall in-flight entertainment experience. A reading light placed into the top of the seat provides focused illumination. And from August 2014 amenity kits designed by Samsonite having superior quality products by Korres, a premium brand of Greece will be offered in this premium segment.

Lufthansa decided to upgrade its offerings in business class keeping in mind region’s strong passenger growth. In 2013 alone the airline witnessed a passenger growth of five percent y-o-y.
